Thalia Kilpatrick Biography

Raised on a rural property in northern NSW, Thalia was drawn to the wonder and beauty of this dance form from an early age. Starting her belly dancing journey as a young teenager, she soon became enamoured by the dancing, music and costuming, all quickly becoming an important part of her life.
​
Having studied with international dance masters and performed in Middle Eastern dance festivals in Turkey, Egypt and Australia, as well as featuring in Bellyqueen's production, Journey along the Silk Road, it is clear that Thalia loves to share her passion for dance.
Elegant Veil Technique (All Levels)

Make your veil your floating dance partner! In this workshop we will learn to become one with belly dance’s most classic prop, the veil.
In bellydance, the veil is an extension of your body, it can add an extra element to your dance, invoking elegance, playfulness, mystery and grace.
This workshop is suitable for new and continuing dancers, and will include a warm-up, veil technique & posture, signature movements and variations which can be used alone or combined together for a beautiful choreography
You are welcome to bring your own veil if you have one, otherwise, there will be some veils available for use and to purchase.
